Maritime Museum Wedding – Jay and Nathan

Yesterday was the amazing wedding day of Jay and Nathan! These 2 had an incredible Maritime Museum Wedding on the Albert Docks in Liverpool City Centre. Jay and Nathan are both architects so they loved the architecture of the iconic building. The weather was perfect for a Maritime Museum wedding! It was a gorgeous day.

Greek Traditions

Nathan is Greek so it was important that they incorporated some Greek traditions such as having crowns during the ceremony to unite them, making them the kings of their home! Jay and Nathan kept these on all day and they looked amazing. Money dancing and plate smashing were lots of fun later on too! Their suits were tailor made by Matt O’Brian and looked fantastic!

Ceremony and Reception

They had both their ceremony and reception in the Maritime Museum. Their events space is on the 4th floor of the building and is a huge space so plenty of room for lots of friends and family. Jay and Nathan’s friends and family were so excited and happy for this wedding! The applauses during the ceremony and speeches etc just kept going! I can’t blame them, especially after the most emotional vows I think I have ever heard, I had to hold back a tear!

We went for a little stroll around the docks to get some lovely couple photos. I had my second shooter, Shauna, with me all day who was amazing. Shauna photographed Nathan getting ready at The Jury’s Inn while I was with Jay and 30 James St. There was lots going on all day so having 2 of us there made sure that everything was captured!

Congratulations to 2 of the nicest people I’ve come across! It was an absolutely amazing wedding at the Maritime Museum!
