Halloween Themed Wedding in Blackpool – Matt and Em

I have been so excited for this Halloween themed wedding from the moment I met Matt and Emily!! Our zoom call consisted of us discussing all things spooky wedding themed and our cats haha! We had planned to do some fun and spooky themed photos during their wedding which ended up looking amaaazing! Em looked absolutely amazing in her gorgeous dress THAT SHE MADE HER SELF!! Completed with a stunning crystal crown and a marvellous cape to top it off. Matt had a cane that turned into a wand and looked equally as dapper with his suave suit and painted nails.

The Ceremony

The couple got married at The Wedding Chapel in Blackpool which is the most modern registry office I have been in. It is located on Blackpool’s famous promenade and has a huge window with an amazing view of the tower. It is right on the seafront which makes for fabulous and easy photos after the ceremony. The weather wasn’t the best yesterday, it had been pouring down all morning. However, just after the ceremony the sun started to come through the dark clouds and it looked stunningly moody!

Matt got emotional when he saw his soon to be wife, Em, walking up the aisle. I just love it when emotions are running high! It makes for great photos. Everyone was surprised that he cried before Em did haha. They had written their own personal vows which almost had the rest of the room in tears too.

The Reception

After the ceremony Steve from Churchtown Wedding Car accompanied us to Salisbury Woodland to take some spooky photos! Ant and Ben, 2 of the groomsmen also came along to help! Em and Matt had brought some smoke bombs to the wedding and the idea was to put them in some pumpkin heads for an epic photo. The light was coming through the trees just perfectly and Ben and Ant were great running around to spread to smoke too! It looked so cool! Perfect for Matt and Em’s Halloween themed wedding.

After this we made our way to The Waterloo Bar in Blackpool. Which has to be the coolest bar I have ever been in! Matt and Em loved all of the memorabilia and the fact that it is haunted. It was a perfect setting for their halloween themed wedding.
