This Thornton Manor Pavilion wedding was the one that I was most excited for in 2020. Unfortunately it got postponed to 2021 and it was, again, the wedding that I was most excited for! This is because Jess is wonderful, colourful and quirky (like me) and her and Dan were planning a Disney ‘Up’ themed wedding. Not only is this one of the cutest Disney films ever it is full of colourful balloons and love! Jess and Dan booked me in 2018 and we have all been excitedly awaiting this day at Thornton Manor Pavilion since!!
Getting Ready
Well it finally happened at it did not disappoint! The Waterside Pavilion at Thornton Manor is an enchanting venue which is in the most romantic and idyllic surroundings. It is literally a picture perfect venue with easy access to multiple gorgeous spots for photos! Both Jess and Dan got ready on the estate and then went over to the Thornton Manor Pavilion for their wedding Ceremony.
Jess looked absolutely stunning with her bright pink and purple hair which was styled perfectly by Hair By Hannah. Her and her bridesmaids looked fabulous, I loved the bridesmaids dresses – the pattern and colours were lovely! Kitty Lash Holly was on make up and did a fab job of making everyone look wedding ready! They all looked absolutely gorgeous! Oh and don’t forget the most amazing, pink and starry veil I have ever laid eyes on from Crown and Glory!
The Ceremony
Jess and Dan had their ceremony outdoors, it was a perfect day for a Thornton Manor Pavilion wedding. With a gorgeous moon gate from Mary Mary florals (who also did the amazing flowers), it looked spectacular! They had confetti coming down the aisle and of course we did even more confetti a bit later – because there is no such thing as too much confetti haha.
The Reception
Later on in the day Dotty the Ice Cream Van arrived to serve everyone delicious ice cream! I was made up I could have some because they had a vegan raspberry ripple hehe. It was a great photo opportunity as well of course! Can every wedding have ice cream please? Followed shortly by Birdie Campervan and Photobooth, it was set to be a fun evening! I am good friends with the owner of Birdie and it is always a ball when they are around! Also another one that looks amazing for photos!
The evening was kicked off with a surprise message for Jess from her favourite band, Wheatus, and then straight into first dance followed by some of the best punk tunes which had everyone up dancing!
Congratulations to the lovely Jess and Dan. Your wedding was definitely worth the wait and I hope that you had the best day ever! Here is a sneak peek from your wedding day…
