Hope Street Hotel Wedding – Amy and Faye

Ahhh Faye and Amy finally got to say ‘I DO’ after postponing their original wedding date from last winter to August. I am actually a little glad as the light and weather was so much better than it would have been in January haha. We got to see a gorgeous sunset from the balcony of Hope Street Hotel over looking the city of Liverpool! I do love a Hope Street Hotel Wedding.

Getting Ready

Faye and Amy had their whole wedding day at Hope Street Hotel! They both got ready there, then the ceremony and then the reception. I love it when the whole day is in one place as it is so much easier! It was especially easier for these two as it meant that I could run between their rooms and photograph both of them getting ready equally! Two brides is double the fun! They both looked absolutely stunning. They had their hair and make up done by Hair by Jasmin and Anna Lewis Make Up who did amazing jobs and were super lovely. Both of them had gorgeous dresses and the flowers from Flourish Flowers were amazing. We did a first look on the balcony before the ceremony which was the cutest thing ever.

The Ceremony and Reception

The ceremony was filled with love, smiles and laughter. Surrounded by all of their family and friends it was a lovely atmosphere. After the ceremony there were hugs, drinks and canapes. After a few family photos on the impressive balcony at Hope Street Hotel we went for a little wander just the three of us to take some cool couples photos! I love photographing weddings at Hope Street Hotel. I have a little route around the block with loads of little hidden gem spots for photos haha!

Once back from our little photo adventure everyone sat down for their meal and speeches. After this there was a bit of chill time before going downstairs to the basement for the evening party! Some of Amy and Faye’s friends were already dancing at 6pm, so I knew it was going to be a great night!

The wonderful cake (and cupcakes) from Elizabeth Anna Cake Design was cut and then straight into the first dance. They danced to Arctic Monkeys’ cover of ‘Baby I’m Yours.’ Which is what I would have as my own first dance song so I was all emotional behind my camera haha! After this everyone got up and danced and had a ball! There was then a gorgeous sunset. So I grabbed the girls and we went to take a few photos while we enjoyed the view of the sun setting over Liverpool

Congratulations to the new Mrs and Mrs, Faye and Amy! Here is a sneak preview from their amazing day…
