Maren and Ged’s Liverpool City Centre Wedding

After postponing their weddings a few times due to covid, the lovely Maren and Ged finally had their Liverpool City Centre Wedding last week! There were a few different plans and venues but we finally got there in the end and Maren and Ged had a fabulous wedding day!

The got married in Aloft in the city centre, which is an amazing wedding venue. Mixing together an impressive old building style with modern new features! The wooden details and the gorgeous staircase with a big stained glass window behind it are what Maren and Ged loved most about their wedding venue. After the ceremony, Maren and Ged and their closest family and friends stayed for a few drinks at Aloft. Then we made our way to the church gardens opposite the Liver Buildings for some family and couple photos. After our little photo adventure they made their way to Hope Street Hotel for afternoon tea.

Maren and Ged were originally going to get married at Allerton Manor golf club before covid changed their plans. As you can imagine this venue has loads of green space! So we made it our mission to find a few green spots in the city centre that I could make look like we were somewhere else. We actually used the steps and little paths in L1 leading up to chavasse park for this! You can’t even tell that they are right in the centre of Liverpool on these photos!

Speaking of greenery, Maren’s bouquet of flowers was one of the prettiest I have ever seen! With lots of greens with some thistles and subtle flowers thrown in it was breathtakingly beautiful and smelt gorgeous! From the fab Booker Flowers. They complicated Ged’s suit amazingly – this couple love a bit of green! They both looked amazing and they are the loveliest people too.
