The Shankly Hotel Wedding – Cloe and Josh

Dancing is back!! What a great wedding to start off a busy summer of ‘back to normal’ (ish) weddings! It was so nice to have all the things we have missed during a wedding day. Hugging and dancing to name a few! Cloe and Josh wanted 99% natural photos of their wedding day which is great for me because that’s exactly what I do! This means that none (or very little) of your day is taken up standing in a line for group photos, we just took some as and when they were having a ball with friends and family! Cloe found me when she was doing the hair of a bride at a wedding I photographed last year – she loved my natural style!

Cloe and Josh had their ceremony and reception in Baby Eden at The Shankly Hotel which was absolutely stunning! Everything about this wedding was perfect, Cloe’s vision for all the decor was amazing! I don’t think I have ever seen a ceremony room look so gorgeous. The fabulous Rainbows brought Cloe’s natural wedding theme to life. With stunning flowers and finishing touches from Lulu’s Florals, it all came together perfectly! Cloe’s hair, make up and dress were all spectacular – she looked absolutely beautiful. Their daughters were so excited to see her ready to get married and her eldest had the cutest shocked expressions when she saw her and told her how beautiful her mummy looked! The ceremony itself was so lovely because the lovely Lorraine was the celebrant for it! I LOVE weddings with celebrants – they’re always so much more personal and get way more smiles as you can see. Lorraine is very good at it!

The evening kicked off straight away, with a great DJ and sax player! Everyone was up dancing right after the first dance. Can you blame them, there’s been over a year of no dancing! It was great to see everyone having such a great time.
