Nadia and Joe’s Liverpool Wedding at St George’s Hall

Ahhh my first wedding of the year!! I actually can’t believe it, it felt a bit strange! I think i checked that my cameras were set up and charged about a thousand times before I left haha. Could I even remember how to use a camera?! Turns out I do remember phew!

It was a pleasure for the first wedding back to be for the lovely Nadia and Joe. I met Nadia when she was a bridesmaid for another wedding I photographed a few years ago. Our wedding meeting last year consisted of a dog walk at Crosby Beach with their golden doodle, Dixie and I brought my Rough Collie, Opal! I already knew we would be a good fit from meeting Nadia at a previous wedding but the dog walk defintely sealed it haha! If anyone else wants a dog walk wedding meeting I love them haha!

Nadia and Joe were planning on keeping their wedding a small affair regardless of Covid so their wedding was just the two of them and each of their parents. Of course their dog, Dixie, made an appearance after the ceremony. They got married at St Georges Hall in Liverpool. It was a gorgeous day, probably one of the first nice ones of the year! The sun was shining, it was warm but with a nice breeze – perfect! They had each of their brothers on a video call watching the wedding. Joe said he had to try and not laugh as one of them accidently had the northern lights as the background behind them haha! How scenic lol. The ceremony itself was full of giggles and emotion which I always love.

We then went for a little walk around the pillars and stairs of St Georges Hall. It is a great place for photos! After this we went into the gardens next door where Dixie came and nearly knocked them over with excitement. She had a gorgeous flower collar on! What a fabuloous bridesmaid! How gorgeous is Nadia’s dress please? She looked absolutely stunning. Joe’s suit was very dapper too even if his shoes were a little slidey haha! Their couple photos are great and the main reason for all the laughing was that for some reason everytime Nadia looked at Joe she couldn’t stop laughing which was cute haha!
