Ashleigh and Alan’s Liverpool City Centre Wedding at The Crowne Plaza

Oh I had so much fun at last Saturday’s wedding of Ashleigh and Alan! These two are just the cutest couple, I met them ages ago and remember how excited we all were about the wedding! It came around so fast. My second shooter, Shauna, headed to their home in the morning to photograph Alan getting ready with the boys. This mostly consisted of dog cuddles and then Alan’s mum using the lint roller on everyone to get the hair off them haha! We LOVE dogs!! Sasha the German Shepherd was just too cute, of course I’ve included a photo of her looking adorable below.

Ashleigh was getting ready in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool City Centre with all of her fab bridesmaids. Lots of fun and laughs whilst getting ready and a lovely friend of mine, Amanda, was on make up making everyone look amazing! The girls had a fab system going on to tie the dresses, they were all stood in a row doing up the backs of each others dresses at the same time! It was like a bridesmaid dress factory haha!

We then headed to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Seaforth, which is right next to my photography studio on Seaforth road (wahoo!). I got to ride with the bridesmaids in the fabulous car from Churchtown Wedding Cars (these guys are my faves, if you want cars you need them!). This church is breathtakingly stunning and the Priest is so friendly! On the way back to the Crowne Plaza we stopped off at the Liverbird wings on Jamaica Street and to put a little lock on the railings at the Albert Dock – CUTEST MOMENT EVER. Steve from Churchtown Wedding Cars drove us around for these shots and it was fabulous, we had the roof down and people were shouting congrats and it was just great.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool has stunning waterfront views and a fab, stylish interior and function suite for weddings! Their day was definitely filled with unique and special memories. Being so close to the liver buildings and Liverpool waterfront we got some super cute photos of Ashleigh and Alan and some crazy fun ones with their bridal party! Let’s just say one of the groomsmen got carried away with smoke bombs haha.
