Rainy St George’s Hall Wedding -Katy and Tobi

Ahhh yesterday I got absolutely soaked but it was so worth it! Katy and Tobi asked me to photograph their cute, intimate wedding day at St George’s Hall in Liverpool City Centre. I love a St George’s Hall Wedding, especially intimate ones! They only had 7 guests, their parents and best friends. Whom had travelled from Germany, Spain and Leeds! Katy and Tobi live in Leeds but wanted to pick neutral ground for their wedding ceremony and settled on the gorgeous Liverpool! I am biased though haha.

It literally torrential rained alllllll day. All. Day. But that did not stop these guys having a ball. Tobi and the guys even walked to St Georges while we abandoned that plan and were trying to get taxi’s haha. Katy and her dad were stood waiting in a bus stop to shelter from the down pour while trying to grab a cab! Nothing stressed her out though and the rain was embraced! There is always a massive chance of rain on any wedding day in England so it’s best to just embrace it, photos can still be fab as you can see!! My umbrellas came in very handy though! I sacrificed my dryness for these photos, worth it.

They got married in the Sefton Room at St Georges Hall, I love this room because there is so much natural light! In one of Liverpool’s landmark buildings. Photos in and around St Georges Hall are always great 🙂 They then went on to 30 James street for a meal in their rooftop bar. These guys make the cutest couple, happy and giggling all day. Which is what we love to see and makes amazing, natural photos. Katy had an outfit change, because why the hell not, and absolutely rocked both of them!! They are celebrating with more friends and family back home in Leeds the following evening! Why not make a whole weekend out of it and wear the outfits twice?! Great idea 🙂
